Silvina received her B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Universidad Nacional de Rosario, Argentina. After receiving an International Fulbright Science & Technology Award, she completed her Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering at Washington University in St. Louis, with a focus in pediatric neuroimaging. After graduation, she worked as a postdoctoral research fellow at the Fetal-Neonatal Neuroimaging and Developmental Science Center, Boston Children’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School. She's currently an assistant professor at the Department of Intelligent Systems Engineering (ISE) at Indiana University. Her research focuses on the development and applications of multi-modal neuroimaging techniques to study early brain development in healthy children and clinical populations.
